Different Variations
Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS) is the most common cause of 46, XY intersex.
Congential Andrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) is the most common cause of 46, XX intersex.
There may be any number of chromosome configurations rather than 46, XX or 46, XY intersex such as 46, XXY (Klinefelter syndrome).
Only one X chromosome (Turner Syndrome)
